Choosing the right office equipment for your business can be daunting. Copiers, printers, and MFPs are imperative tools for your office. It's hard to imagine a workday without them. So we want to help you find the equipment that best suits your business. What are some things to look for when choosing from the many available copiers and printers out there?

Size

Practically speaking, if your office is small, your office machine will need to be on the smaller side of things. If you have a spacious workspace, you can afford to go a little bigger. You may also want to think about buying an MFP, which gives you a copier, printer, fax machine and scanner all in one machine, freeing up all kinds of space.

Another factor to consider is the size of your printing jobs. Do you print just a few documents per week or do you push out a consistent waterfall of text? You'll want to check paper tray sizes to ensure that you can get big printing jobs done without constantly refilling the trays. And you'll want to get a machine that can handle large jobs and print them as quickly as you need them.

Features

If collating and stapling are functions you want your printer to have, then research to find a quality machine that offers those features. There are printers with two-sided or duplexing capabilities but also ones that are simpler -- without those features that you won't even use. Do you need to print in color or simple black and white? Determine what features you need for your print jobs and then making the decision will come much easier.

Price

Before you head to the nearest low-cost machine, realize that the stated price won't be the only cost you ever put down. Maintenance needs will come up later. Find a machine that is going to save you money in the long run, not cost you more a month or two down thr road. You'll also want to research the price of each printer and copier's supplies - toner, paper, staples, cleaning materials.

We are confident that you can find the office machine that will be the perfect size, price and have all the features you need with none to spare.

It's exciting to think of how customizable you can get with all the different office equipment options. Contact us to talk size, features, and the price of your new printer.
